Are you stoked for your upcoming beach resort vacation? Well I am! I still can’t believe my luck of landing on a luxurious yet very much affordable Bahamas beach resort accommodation. So now I am pretty much caught up with so much excitement that I got myself this don’t-ever-forget list.

Sunscreen
Of course this is the number one item in your list. Who goes to the Bahamas and comes back as pale as talcum powder? No one! The main reason why we’re heading there is to soak up some loving sun rays but these rays may not be so loving on your skin, especially if you plan to bake under the sun. So make sure you are armed with your sunscreen, along with some headgear to protect your face from intense heat.

Book or a magazine
Or whatever reading material you want to spend your time on during the vacation. Stay away from your laptop and anything connected to the Internet for a while and savor the quiet time that you got yourself.

Lightweight clothes
Leave your heavy jeans and coats (unless you are planning to dine somewhere fancy) at home. This is the time to break out those hibiscus-printed shirts and rock those maxi dresses! Or better yet, flaunt those skimpy bikinis! Go all out on this vacation since there is no better place to look fashionably summer chic than in the Bahamas.

Money!
But of course, you need money! No Bahamas beach resort comes for free and even if you got the sweetest deal, you still need your cash for your meals or your sports activities. While most of them will take your credit cards, you’ll never know when they will go offline so it is better to have some cash stashed somewhere to keep your vacation smooth sailing.
